About Kaye Anne
Kaye Anne Starosciak was born and raised in Belleville, Michigan, a small town halfway between Detroit and Ann Arbor.
After earning her Bachelors of Science in Dietetics from Michigan State University, Kaye Anne went on to complete an internship at the University of Michigan Health System, where she worked side-by-side with some of the leading healthcare providers in the world. After receiving certification from the American Dietetic Association, she took her skills to St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, part of the world renowned Texas Medical Center, and counseled patients with conditions such as diabetes, obesity and eating disorders.
In 1998, Kaye Anne was hired as the first Sports Nutritionist at the University of Michigan Athletic Department, where she received an expansive view of how some of the nation’s top collegiate athletes, coaches and training staffs prepare for success.
During all this time, Kaye Anne remained an avid runner, competing in road races of all distances as well as sprint triathlons and trail races. However, it wasn’t until she began setting high personal goals – and seriously working to achieve them – that she became one of the nation’s top distance runners.
Since 2011, Kaye Anne has put-up some impressive PR’s, as well as wins and podiums.
